Revolution eyeshadow palette- iconic 1.

image

Today I’m going to be doing a review on the REVOLUTION Redemption eyeshadow Palette in ICONIC 1.
This palette is a dupe for the more expensive Urban Decay NAKED1 palette. The shades are all identical, and although I don’t personally own an Urban Decay palette, I can say that the quality of the Revolution eyeshadows are excellent, especially for the price.
I bought this palette for £4 in the UK (around 6 dollars), they are exclusively available online and in Superdrug stores. I am unsure whether this brand is available in the U.S.A and other countries yet, as it’s a fairly new one to the UK.

As you can see, this eyeshadow pallette offers a great selection, from pale shades to dark ones, and both shimmery and matte shades. It is a good ‘neutral’ palette for when you maybe want to wear something natural to school, college or work, then something a bit more smoky for when you’re attending a party or special occasion.
I often use the two darkest shades on the right in this palette for eyeliner, it is easy to line your lash line with the grey or black, smudging a little if you like, although it is equally as easy to perfect a neat line.
The shade second from left is also ideal as a bronzing highlighter.
The eyeshadows are all creamy, well pigmented and last well.
For the price of this palette, I really think you can’t go wrong, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a large selection of good quality neutral eyeshadows but doesn’t want to splash out lots of money.
Price £4
Availability: Superdrug stores only
Rating 8/10
Author’s Note: Revolution also has a Redempton Palette in ICONIC 2 (dupe for Urban Decay NAKED2) and ICONIC 3 (dupe for Urban Decay NAKED3).
